| Webinar Description:
Mortgage professionals - Follow these 7 strategies for meeting and networking with the right social media savvy agents online without looking like a stalker. As more real estate professionals start using social media and online networking as a means to create business, they are being hounded by the constant spam pushed on them by overly aggressive loan officers looking to build relationships. Simply being in the right place at the right time will put you in front of agents that are actually making a living as a result of their online presence. The good news is that social media savvy agents are very open to partnering with loan officers who understand the big picture in their marketing agenda. * This is the follow-up webinar to: Partnering With Social Media Savvy Agents To Meet More Buyers Online ______________________________ Presenters:
______________________________ Webinar Bullets: Define your purpose for meeting agents online. Create a unique selling proposition other than great rates and service. Remember that you don’t have to be friends with everyone. If you’re a surviving mortgage professional with high standards, then you’ve earned the right to only network with the agents that take their careers seriously as well. Step 1 – Search for all local real estate blogs using Google Blog Search. Step 2 – Subscribe to all local and national real estate related blogs in Google Reader. Step 3 – Comment on local real estate blogs by adding value to their conversation. Step 4 – Promote a link to the agent’s article through Twitter using HootSuite.com. Step 5 – Join real estate agents’ groups and pages on Facebook, and then update their communities with good info – don’t spam. Step 6 – Link back to an agent’s blog article using the proper anchor text from your mortgage blog. Step 7 – Join real estate social media Facebook groups, REBlogworld and VREBC, and network with the agents that understand the future of the web. Summary: The purpose of this strategy is to get in the agent’s space online and participate in high traffic conversations so that you can build trust and top of mind through association. It isn’t about selling some pitch, devising a creative mouse trap / squeeze page and duping someone into a spam email marketing campaign. It is simple being in the right place in front of the right people online. Agents that have high traffic blogs need loan officers to add valuable targeted content in order to reach more qualified and informed buyers online. By leaving relevant comments on an agent’s blog and helping them promote their articles through Twitter and Facebook, you’ll prove that you truly care about enabling their success online. The main challenge loan officers have with meeting agents online is that they have to fight through the clutter and spam that most of the other mortgage vultures are overwhelming the online world with. By following some simple rules of engagement and proper etiquette, it is easy to stand out from the crowd. ______________________________ |
